Guys i need some ovulation & LH surge advice, it was positive?

The first day of my period was 6th August with a 30 day cycle. Anyway I thought I'd give the OPK a go %26amp; see what happens...Well I tested my urine on the 14th,16th %26amp; 18th of this month %26amp; they were all negative as the lines were very very faint. Anyway yesterday 20th I did a test just to c what was happening as I was getting cramps %26amp; the test line was darker than the control line %26amp; i just tested again now (morning) %26amp; it was positive still as the test line was darker than the control line. I just wanted to know how long does the LH surge last for, when will it become negative again %26amp; how long since the first positive (1 day ago) will I ovulate?

The length of your LH surge can vary from month to month. Last month my LH surge lasted for 2 days, and this month it lasted a few hours. I only know because the next time i used the bathroom i tested again, and it was already negative (i wanted to make sure it was 100% poitive lol). Really, you're supposed to stop testing after the first positive. After that, you usually have about 12-48 hours to BD!





The stretchy discharge is ';egg-white'; and it means your really fertile! Usually ovulation occurs the next day.Guys i need some ovulation %26amp; LH surge advice, it was positive?
OPK can show positive for 1-3 days. EWCM is a GREAT sign though too. go to this website peeonastick.com, has so much ino about OPK's and HPT's. as a rule you ovulate 12-14days BEFORE your next period so keep that in mind too. Baby dust to you :)
24 to 36 hours from the start of the LH surge is what the OPK directions say.
