What does this mean? guys i need your help.or girls advice would help.?

ok so there is this guy that i have liked for around 2 yrs now. He moved into my state last year. When i got his screen name i sent him an instant message introducing myself hoping we could be friends at the very least...maybe more. That didn't work. So we kept it to a on-line thing, which wasn't a bad thing exactly. We would talk as if we had grown up together for about an hour on average we would talk.Monday night we talked for 3 hours and senice then we havent really spoken much bc he always signs off when i sign on (or so it seems) he signs off. or if i im him we talk for around 5 minutes then he signs off. I wanna know what his problem is and what i can do to make him stop.I know he doesnt realize it but it's hurtful and it makes me sad but whatever. tell me what to do

Stop messaging him when you log on, or do it to him a few times. If he asks you what's up then just say well you have no desire to talk to me! And if he says nothing, let it go, he lost interest for some reason. Just remember he's a guy... they do dumb things

PATIENCE...RELAX, YOU REALLY NEED TO FIND OUT WHERE YOU BOTH STAND ON BEING FRIENDS. THEN YOU CAN DECIDE ON WHETHER OR NOT TO CONTINUE ON, OR MOVE ON.
If he's always signing off when you sign on and you only chat w / him for a few minutes and he's always quick to brush you off, then he may just not be as interested in you as you are in him and he probably just does'nt want to hurt your feelings by telling you to let him be, then the best thing to do is avoid chatting with him. Don't contact him for a long while. a few weeks or so. If he is interested in you then he'll contact you. Then you can take it from there.
