I think just coffee/tea on its own will never work. You would never to serve other hot food. People will already know of and use chip/burger/hotdog cans where they can get a variety of hot food and coffee. Seems like a competitive market, there is always these types of vans at markets, industrial estates, and even shopping retail complexes. You don't say what your target customer environment is, but if your looking at travelling around street areas like an ice cream van does, I think its doomed.
omg, thats an amazing idea!

i love coffee!, and would buy from you, if i ever meet you

i think you should sell little biscotti's with them and cream and stuff opptionally,

and custom made ones, like really really sweet and/or milky coffee (thats how i like mine) , or even cold for when it's hot.

and flavoured coffees- orange, mint, rose, dark chocolate.

and serve in fluffy cups (for insultaion) :T

go crazy! good luck!

:D
When I worked at a local hospital, there was a van that used to come at lunch time with sandwiches and stuff, so you could do that. Also, you could park at a industrial estate in the morning. If there is a cafe locally to it, do something different, i.e., pastries, real coffee, etc.
coffee is forever. for a mobile coffee concept come up something unique that goes with ur concept. people are on the go, ur on the go too coz ur in a van stuff like that.

make sure the coffee preparation are well planned and ur service you dont want to go into legal problems in the future would you.

good luck and the concept is totally new and good...coffee on the go...for people on the go!
Sounds like a great idea. Have you thought about or researched other businesses like this within your area? This is the best way to see if the need is worth the effort. Good luck and keep that rabbit in front of you because the day you caught it your dream is over!
Dont park in a starbucks parking lot. Most likely best place to sell are in locations where people work in isolated places. Think about having chips, cookies, even donuts, muffins, etc
